The Sherman, Pusah and Kiahon families announce with deep sadness the passing of their beloved sister, aunty, cousin, sister-in-law, and grand aunty, Edith Sangai Hawa Sherman.
“Aunty Edith”, as she was affectionately called, transitioned peacefully on June 30, 2026, in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County, Liberia.
Aunty Edith Sangai Sherman was predeceased by her parents, Cllr. George Boima Gai Sherman and Famatta Pusah-Sherman, her siblings, Teetee Sherman, Massa Sherman, Justine Sherman, Foley Sherman, Emmanuel P. Sherman, Nathaniel Sherman, Philip M. Sherman, and Benjamin J. Sherman.
Aunty Edith Sangai Sherman is survived by her siblings, George M. Sherman, Sr., Samuel Sonii Sherman, Lucretia Sherman-Massaquoi, Patience Fatu Sherman, George T. Sherman, Thomas Bai Sherman, Roseline Sherman-Mensah, George N. Sherman, Mamusu Sherman, Fatu Jebbeh Sherman, Famatta Sherman-Kiadii, Edwin B. Sherman, James K. Sherman, and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and other relatives in Liberia, Europe, and the USA.
