Precisely one month following her birthday, Cordelia Victoria Maycole was called home by the good Lord. Our mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and aunt passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, in Bethesda, Maryland.
Cordelia was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Maycole; parents, Gabriel James Benjamin & Plagbetee McCauley, sister, Edna Tarpeh and brother, Benjamin McCauley.
She is survived by her brother, Eddie McCauley; sons, Antonio Maycole, Melvin Maycole, (Lulu) Roland Maycole, (Victoria) & Malcolm Maycole. (Tammie) Eight grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a throng of relatives and friends in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
