The Raynes, Mitchell, Mapleh, and Luke Families are deeply saddened to announce the death of their mother, grandmother, aunt and sister Mrs. Catherine Mitchell Raynes “Teetee” (78, Millsburg, Montserrado County, Liberia)
She transitioned from labor to rest on Monday, 15 September 2025 at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital, Temple, TX after a brief hospitalization.
Mother Catherine Mitchell Raynes was a devoted Christian, a pillar of strength and lived life filled with love, laughter and devotion to her family and community.
She leaves to mourn her children (Wannah, Kullah, Yeye, and Nathaniel), 9 grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends in the USA and Liberia.
Teetee, as she was affectionately called, will dearly be missed for her kindness, generosity and warm spirit. She also lived a gentle and quiet life with love and compassion.
