This said event occurred at Ingalls Memorial Hospital, Harvey, IL. On May 2nd, 2023 She was predeceased by her mother Louise L. Gittens, and brother James A Gittens IV.
She leaves to mourn her loss – her father James A Gittens Jr., life partner Rudolph C. Taylor, best friend Joyce Ricks-Sonie, brother Zinnah Gittens, Uncles, Aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Catherine L. Gittens emanated from Monrovia, Liberia and settled in Calumet City, IL and was a member of the Episcopal church and devoted Christian.
