The Bright, Dillon, Clarke, Reeves and Diggs families regret to announce the passing of their mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend, Mrs. Ann J. Bright of Takoma Park, MD. Ann passed away peacefully on Friday morning, November 22, 2024, at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC, USA.

Ann was predeceased by her husband, Mr. Rameses I. E. Bright; her parents, Mr. David Wellington Dillon, Sr. and Mrs. Jessina Clarke-Dillon; her siblings, Charlesetta Dillon, Ruth Dillon, Edmund Dillon (aka) Boy Dillon, David Dillon, Jr., (aka) David Boy, and Lance Dillon Sr.; her sister-in-law, Caroline Dillon, and her niece, Wilhelmina Dillon.

Ann leaves to cherish her memory four children: Cyril Rameses Bright (Tracey), Jallah Gibli (Vanessa), Renee Bright Forbes (Edward), Sondia Bright; her grandsons: Miles S. Forbes, Rameses J. Bright; her Brothers and Sisters-in-law (who are “like siblings”), Cousins, Nephews, Nieces, Grandnephews and Grandnieces, adopted sons and daughters, and very close friends in the United States, Liberia, Ghana, Kenya, Luxembourg, England, Switzerland, and The Netherlands.

Ann was a beautiful soul whose life touched so many people through her kindness and generosity. She provided her support and her time to others unconditionally.

May her soul rest peacefully and her light remain in our hearts and minds forever.

Visitation: Thursday, December 12, 2024, 10am; Service follows at 11a.m.
