It is with profound sadness, but deep faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, that our family announces the homegoing of our beloved daughter in Christ, Cecelia Zina Freeman Bull, daughter of the late Hon. Rev. Urias Baiyembeh Freeman (descendant of the Fahnbulleh and Dablo clans of Grand Cape Mount County) and the late Elizabeth Gordon Freeman (descendant of Hilary R.W. Johnson of Montserrado County, and the Acker and Gordon families of Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County). Her sisters Dr. Maima Darbah Fahnbulleh and Ray Fametta Freeman predeceased her. Cecelia passed away on October 11, 2026, at 12:25p.m. surrounded by her loved ones.
Cecelia, a revered Liberian educator, dedicated her life to fostering lifelong learning, inspiring students, and preparing them to become the pillars of their society. She was a devoted woman of faith who poured her heart into her church, its ministries, and the spiritual upliftment of its congregation.
Cecelia was everything to her family—the steadfast glue who nurtured and cared for us with deep love, discipline, and selfless wisdom. While we will forever miss her physical presence, her spirit and legacy will remain in our hearts forever.
Cecelia is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ambassador William V.S. Bull, Sr.;
