In Loving Memory of Laura Boeyinoh Zoe Williams

With deep sorrow and humble submission to the will of the Almighty God, we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, cousin, and friend, Laura Boeyinoh Zoe Williams.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Doe Williams and Lucy Mawen Jallah; her sister, Munah Williams; her brother, Bobby Williams; and her beloved son, Nuke Emmanuel Williams.

Laura was born in Margibi County, Liberia, on June 23, 1963, and peacefully passed away in her sleep on May 25, 2026, in Urbandale, Iowa.

She leaves to cherish her memory her stepmother, Martha Cooper; her children, Patience Rouhalce, Lawrence Williams (Taryonna), James Williams, and Laujim Banks-Lewis (Tajae); 20 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 9 sisters; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends in Liberia and the United States.

Laura began her life in Liberia and later immigrated to the United States in the early 2000s. She resided in Trenton, New Jersey, where she lived with her children and grandchildren. She later relocated to Iowa with her son, Nuke Williams. Following Nuke’s passing, Laura moved to Minnesota to live with her oldest son, Lawrence Williams. While visiting Iowa, she peacefully departed this life in her sleep.

Laura B. Williams was a woman of strength, grace, compassion, and unwavering faith. She touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity, delicious cooking, and deep love for family and friends. Her warm spirit, caring heart, and gentle presence will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Though we mourn her passing, we thank God for the blessing of her life and the precious memories she leaves behind. Her love, wisdom, and legacy will continue to live through her children, grandchildren, family, and all whose lives she has touched.
