The Cooper, Talery, Boakai, Richards and Jones families sadly announce the peaceful transition into eternal rest of Marvis K. Cooper on May 15th 2026 at JFK Medical Center in Monrovia, Liberia.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Marvis Cooper Jr; brothers Oliver (Ciata), Daniel and Lafayette (Ruth). His sisters Kartumu (Joseph), Anastasia ( Samuel), Ellen (Kodjoe) and Gertrude (Ernest deceased).
Marvis was born onto the union of the late Momolu S. Cooper and Marvine Talery Cooper on April 29,1952 in Monrovia, Liberia. He was predeceased by his siblings Lincoln, Momolu, Precious, Merlene and Maima.
Marvis was a hardworking, authentic and strong-willed introvert but his presence was always felt. He found comfort in simplicity and solitude. Marvis will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
