“The Lord is my light and my salvation”, Psalm 27
The Daniels, Draper, Crusoe, and Sumo families announce with profound sorrow the homegoing celebration of their beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the late Lamine Flomo Daniels, Sr.
The late Lamine Flomo Daniels, Sr., affectionately known as “Brother Lamine,” was born on March 8, 1948, in Kakata, Margibi County, Liberia. He spent his early years in Vanyeama with his parents, both of whom preceded him in death. He began his primary education at Ora Jean Elementary School and later attended Lango Lappy Junior High School. After completing his junior high studies, he enrolled at the Vocational Training Center (VTC) in Bong Mines.
The Late Brother Lamine was later blessed with the opportunity to travel to Germany, where he earned a degree in Engineering. Upon returning to Liberia, he worked with the Bong Mining Company until the outbreak of the Civil War in 1989. He also worked with the Coca-Cola Company until his retirement. Following his retirement, he was encouraged by his late brother to pursue further employment with the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC), where he served faithfully and diligently until relocating to the United States of America.
The Late Brother Lamine was a devoted family man and a committed Christian whose life reflected faith, humility, and service. He faithfully served as an Elder of the New Georgia United Methodist, until his relocation to the United States.
In 2019, the Late Lamine Flomo Daniels, Sr. relocated to the United States to reunite with his siblings, children, nieces, and extended family in New Jersey, and later settled in Pennsylvania. This new chapter of his life was filled with love, resilience, and family unity. He shared a particularly close bond with one of his grand-nephews, and together they affectionately called each other “Partner,” a name that reflected their special relationship.
The Late Brother Lamine joined the Calvary Community Church, in Bristol, Pennsylvania where he served as Senior Deacon and assisted with other pastoral duties.
After a period of illness, the Late Lamine Flomo Daniels, Sr. peacefully gained his wings on April 27, 2026, at Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, Pennsylvania.
Brother Lamine was preceded in death by his parents; Flomo Gougou Daniel and Ma Zinnah, his daughter Botoe Mamie Daniel; his brothers Shadrick Daniel, Mulbah D Gougou and Sam A Daniel.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Frances Draper Daniels; 6 children: Sonnie Daniels, Lamine F. Daniels, Jr., Lourdes Aketee Daniels, McFredrick T. Daniels, Abraham Daniels, and Adeline Daniels; his siblings: Rev G. Michael Daniels, Mabel Daniel Brandy, Joe Gono, Nopoe Sumo, Peggy Crusoe-Morgan(James H Morgan), Rionel Crusoe(Sianeh Miller Crusoe), Gloria Sumo-Omejia(Cl Matthias Omejia) and his niece Waituo Daniel; along with nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand-children, and a host of relatives and loved ones residing in Liberia, Australia, and the United States.
Though the Late Lamine Flomo Daniels, Sr. is no longer with us physically, his legacy of faith, love, kindness, and devotion to family will forever live on in our hearts.
