
It is with heartfelt sorrow and thanksgiving to God for a life well lived that the Keah, Tarkapoh and Sayeh families announce the passing of Agnes Monah Keah, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt cousin and friend, in her 87th year, at her Airfield Newroad home in Monrovia, Liberia on Saturday, July 19, 2025.
Aunty, Mamma, Grandma, Sister, Sister Keah as she was endearingly called leaves behind a legacy of love and affection for all who encountered her.
She is survived by her children: Angelina Welleh Sayeh, Salekri Clement Sayeh (Keaba Kortu Sayeh), Romano Dekonti Sayeh, Christopher Jargbeh Sayeh (Georgeline Winnie Sayeh), her grandchildren: Wannie V. Koaloe, Don J. Mendscole, Lovetti Kpoto (Thierry M. Kpoto), Jasmine Sayeh, Dekonti E. Sayeh, Salekri C. S. Sayeh, Jr., Baebaa W. Sayeh, Monahdee Sayeh, Sarafina Sayeh, Nagbe Chuks Sayeh, Geebahnin T. Sayeh and her great grandchildren: Romano Mendscole, Romelo Mendscole, Thierry Kpoto, Jr., Madeleine Kpoto and Zallana Kpoto. Aunty also leaves to mourn her loss, her two sisters, Henrietta Keah and Comfort Keah-Itoka (Harry Itoka) and her nieces, Orita Donyen Kolubah (Gbovieh) and Peggy O. Dundas (Charles). Also morning her legacy are her many “children”, family members, her community, friends, and church sisters and brothers.
