Last night (December 9th) the Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Eta Epsilon Lambda Chapter held it’s 9th Scholarship and Awards Ball. The event was well attended by over 300 guests demonstrating their support for the Fraternity’s education initiatives. Since launching its programs a decade ago, the Chapter has mobilized and provided over $50,000 in scholarships and other support for education, including through supporting the now ertswhile Liberia Education Trusts.
The Fraternity also awarded individuals for their ongoing work in several areas that positively impact humanity. Among them, Dr. Dugbeh Chris Nyan, Mrs. Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Bishop Darlington Johnson, Mrs. Theresa Leigh-Sherman, Mrs. Debbie Scott Caranda, Mr. Upjit Singh Sachdeva (JEETY), and the organization Kids Educational Engagement Project (KEEP).
