The Taylor, Smith, Johnson, Lewis and Blake families announce with profound regret the homegoing of Theresa Victoria Smith-Taylor, our beloved mother, daughter, grandmother-affectionately called “GrandDear”-, sister-affectionately called “Teta Theresa”-, aunt, cousin and friend.
This sad event occurred at her home on Friday, August 18, 2023 in Gloucester Township, New Jersey, USA. Mrs. Theresa V. Taylor worked as administrator of the John F. Kennedy Medical Center (JFK), Monrovia and the Rehab Center in Paynesville, Liberia.
Theresa was predeceased by her father, Rev. T.V.A. Smith, mother, Rebecca Z. Johnson-“Bigma”- brother, Paul Smith and beloved husband, Myles W. Taylor Jr.
She leaves to cherish and celebrate her precious memories: her loving children: Myles Tonieh Taylor-(Kou), Henri-Arthur Ansumanah Taylor and foster son William Suakollie (Fatu). Five grandchildren: Carmen A. Taylor, Jasmine J. Taylor, Henri-Arthur A. Taylor Jr., Myles I. Taylor and William Suakollie Jr. Two siblings: Annie Smith and Margretta Smith-General. Nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
