The Taylor, Goodridge, and McIntosh families announce with profound regret the death of the late Rev. Lorince Arnette Taylor in her 69th year. This sad event occurred on December 27, 2023, at the Holy Cross Hospital in Germantown, Maryland (U.S.A) after a short period of illness.
Rev. Arnette Taylor was the senior pastor of Harvest Intercontinental Church in Orlando, Florida, and a graduate of Everglades University. She was predeceased by her parents Ishmael B. Goodridge Sr., and Caroline McIntosh. While staying abroad to further her education, she met Abe (deceased), and Mary G. Weston who became her surrogate parents, and life-long friends.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, Rev. Dr. Jonathan C. Taylor; her children Jaquonah Kessely (Chuke) and Karmilah Taylor, Rev. Varney Firenyika and Nicole Cooper-Taylor, and Neo Juanette and Pitcho N. Monzili; her beloved grandchildren Jalen, Jonathan Emmett (JE), Jedidah, Acora, Caleb, Jacob, Keanu, Lorrence, Dennis, Adrian, Devontae, Davion, Isaiah, Jathan, Jeriah, Jonathan Ezra (MJ); her great grandchildren Melodie and Eliana. She is also survived by her siblings Shedrick Goodridge, Carlestia D. Goodridge, Hon. Reginald B. Goodridge Sr., Marvin Goodridge, Charles Goodridge, Wrejah V. Goodridge, George Goodridge, and Ishmeal B. Goodridge Jr. (deceased); her siblings by marriage Rev. Lillian B. Taylor, Uriah Taylor Gamo, Beuford J. Taylor Jr., Dorothy Taylor Harvey, Francis A. Taylor (Charlotte), Josephine G. Taylor, Byron G. Taylor, Marie Taylor Flehflehn (Winston), Eunice Taylor Kulah (Oliver), Herbert S. Goodlin, and Emmett A. Taylor (deceased). Also giving thanks for a life well-lived are her nephews, nieces, several adopted children, and a host of family and friends in Liberia, United States, and around the world.
