The Caphart family announces with deep sorrow the passing of Reginald Caphart, in his 65th year, on June 27, 2022, in Staten Island, New York, United States of America. Reggie, who was also affectionately called Vaiyon, had been ill for a protracted period. The family, while profoundly grieved by the loss, is consoled by the fact that he now lies comfortably in the bosom of the Almighty, joining his parents, sister and brothers who predeceased him.
Reggie leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Anastasia Simmonds Caphart; his children, Togar, Trokon (Hawa), Gardea (Sianeh), Feeta Janjay, and Vaiyon Youjay; his siblings, Martha, Emma, Nathaniel (Shirley), Richard (Christiana), Randolph, Jehu, and Mardea; and a host of relatives, friends and well-wishers.
He was predeceased by his parents, Isaac and Menzohn Caphart; and his siblings, Dekontee Caphart Elliott, George Gbono Caphart, and Jonathan Tetelmah Caphart.
