It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the Thorpe, Wright, Bright and Norton families inform you of the homegoing of our son, father, nephew, brother, uncle, cousin and friend Nathaniel Thorpe III, better known as Nate to friends and affectionately known as TKey to family, whose life was cut short in the early morning hours of September 16, 2024 in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
He was born on July 23, 1986 in Providence, Rhode Island where he was raised by his father Nathaniel Thorpe Sr. He was a graduate of Fridley High School and later attended Bemidji State University after receiving a scholarship majoring in Mass Communications. He enjoyed his time being with his family and friends, longboarding and playing with his dog Precious. TKey spent a great deal of his teenage years playing video games and being a lover of Anime. He also shared a passion for music where he sang as a Tenor in the choir althroughout his high school years.
He will be remembered for his kindness, motivation, inspiration and loving heart. Though he was taken from us too soon, he will be deeply missed by many. His beautiful spirit and infectious smile will never be forgotten.
He leaves to mourn his loving father Nathaniel Thorpe Sr, his wife Aminata, son Kale, sister, his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
