With profound sadness the Scott, Nimmo and Hill families regret to announce the homegoing of our loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunty, cousin, niece and friend, Mrs. Juanitta Aliza Hill Scott. This sad event occurred at her son and daughter in law Rev. & Sister Sundaygai Rundell Scott residence in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA, on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at 3:30 PM after a brief illness.
Mrs. Scott leaves to mourn and cherish her memories of her children Mr. Solomon Dunn Freddie Scott, Jr(Racheal Nimley), Mr. Fred Scott(Roseline Scott), Col. K.Humphrey J. Scott, Ms. Janice Tetee Scott, Ms. Lucia Pui Scott, Mr. Chris Bushboy Scott, Rev. Sundaygai Rundell Scott (Tatee Freeman Scott), Mr. Jordu Freddy Scott, Mrs. Mary Scott Harris, several adopted children, her siblings Ms. Eva Hill, Mrs. Maude Hill Pearson (Samuel Bennett Pearson), Mrs. Phyllis Hill Hansson, Mr. Willington Hill including Rev. Eliza C. Toklah and Mrs. Marie T. Hill. Her in laws, Dr. Wannie Mae Scott McBurrough, Fumba Scott (Loiuse), Adolphus B. Scott, J. Asala Scott, Richard Scott among others. Several grandchildren and great – grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties, uncles, friends, and church family.
She was predeceased by her husband Deacon Solomon J. Scott,Sr. her parents Mr. S. Humphrey D. Hill, Mrs. Joetta Nimmo Hill, Mrs. Dolly Hill, her brothers Mr. David Hill, Deacon Rundell Hill, Mr. Humphrey Hill, Jr. Sisters, Mrs. Louise V. Brown, Mrs. Eunicer Hill Yomie, Mrs. Ruth Hill Ricks, Mrs. Olive Hill, among others.
Funeral Arrangement:
On Saturday, May 13, 2023, a Memorial Service will be held at 9: a.m. At the Mt. Zion Interdenominational Ministries 6830 Quail Ave N, Brooklyn Center, MN 55429. The remains will be flown to Monrovia, Liberia for Funeral Services and burial on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the St. Simon Baptist Church, Community Heights, Monrovia, Liberia at 9:am, followed by burial at the Brewesville cemetery.
