The Ricks, Scott, Richards and Coleman Families announce with deep sadness the passing of our dear sister and mother, Janice Constance Ricks on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at the Catholic Hospital, Monrovia, Liberia.
Janice leaves to mourn and cherish her memories her loving daughter, Daisy Rosemond Ricks, her siblings, Eric B. Ricks and Daisy R. Redd. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins and dear friends around the world. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry B. Ricks and Mac Louise Scott-Ricks of Clay-Ashland. Siblings: MacHenry S. Ricks and Dwight E. Ricks.
Janice was an alumna of Lott Carey Baptist Mission and the College of West Africa School of Business, where she received her Associate Degree in Accounting. She was a very active member of Grace Episcopal Church, Clay-Ashland.
May her soul rest in eternal peace and light perpetual continue to shine upon her.
Janice’s remains will be removed from Samuel Stryker Funeral Home on March 14, 2024 at 9:00am and taken to Grace Episcopal Church, Clay-Ashland, Liberia.
