The Curtis, Marshall, Warner, Gibson and Bull families announce with profound sadness, the passing of Jacqueline Selina Curtis (Jackie). This sad event occurred on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 5:00 a.m at the JFK Medical Center in Monrovia.
At an early age, Jackie’s parents, Mr. Samuel O. Curtis and Mrs. Dorothy Rebecca Curtis predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her aunt/foster mother Mrs. Selina Curtis.
Jackie is survived by five (5) children: Arthnell, Derrick, Clarence and Alex (Umo-otong); and Mariam Selah; one aunt, Mrs. Agnes McCauley; her sisters: Dorothy Curtis McCramada (Emmanuel), Claris Morris Page, and Celestine Mowad-Johnson; her foster siblings Enid Page, Kate Curtis, Bindu Curtis, Emmanuel Curtis, Marion Gbar and Enid Smith. Jackie is also survived by Mrs. Viola Bedell, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends at home and abroad.
Her body will be removed from the Stryker Funeral Home on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 2:30 p.m and taken to Marshall City for a night of wake keeping.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Marshall City, Margibi County, RL. Internment – Marshall Cemetery, Marshall City, Margibi County, RL.
