It is with profound sadness that the Lewciars, Fleming, Forte, and Hodges families announce the home going of our mother, grand mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend Hannah Victoria Lewciars.

This sad event occurred on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 7:20 AM at the Reston Hospital Center.

She is survived by her children: Stephen Tobias Fleming, (Debra) Theresa Victoria Fleming (Brutus) Amelia Louise Forte Molton, Janie Annie Forte Gardie (Epaenatus)

Marie Fleming, Easter Halaway, Joseph Forte, and Richard Dapaye. Sisters in love, Mary Fleming, Rebecca Fleming, Martha Fleming, Rachel Forte, Janie Reeves, Gertie Avery and Patience Elliott. 25 Grandchildren, 10 Great-grand children, several cousins including first cousins Amelia Hutchinson, Vonyee Hodges Hall, Charleslyn Hodges Francis, Cleophas Hodges, Asaneth Hodges Johnson, Mayme Hodges Paye, Therenna Reeves Stryker, several nieces, nephews, her Fortsville St. John River City family and a hosts of relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Ella Hodges Lewciars, father James Lewciars, sister Elizabeth Lewciars, brother Benjamin Lewciars, sons Josiah Sidney Fleming, jr Mariaus Lorenzo Fleming and David Benoni Forte, jr

Tete, as she was affectionate called, will be dearly missed.

Our mother, Ms. Hannah V. Lewciars, will be laid to rest at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. The funeral service will be held at the Union Baptist Church, Fortsville, Grand Bassa County.

Interment follows immediately at her home cemetery.

The family will receive friends and sympathizers at the St. John’s River City hall after the interment.
