The Family of Francis Roosevelt Perry would like to announce with deep sorrow and respect his homegoing in his 80th year on March 14, 2025, at Luther Woods Hospice. Francis was a kind, loving spirit survived by his wife Linda, children Malik, Francine, Manokia, and Narjah, and 9 grandchildren Shayla, Elijah, Makeda, Taylor, Sydney, Bailey, Namisse, Malea and Seysa. Also, survived by his siblings John, Joan, Charles, Ophelia, Roberta, Moses, Cecelia, and Celestine.
As well as sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, all of whom hold cherished memories of him and his easy-going attitude
Mr. Perry was preceded by his father John and Hilda Perry, and his sibling Bob Adighibe.
Francis was born in Cape Palmas, Liberia, shortly after moving to Monrovia where he attended the schools Monrovia Demonstration Elementary until the 7th grade. Then transitioned to St. Patrick High School for grade 8 and graduating from BWI – Booker Washington Institute (1962 to 1965) in Radio and Communications.
He saved up his money and made the big move to New York City where he married, had 4 children, and settled between Maryland and Pennsylvania. He will be greatly missed by all that loved and knew him.
