Celebration of Life
The Sirleaf family regrets to announce the homegoing of their precious Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt, and Cousin, Sis. Bartu Sirleaf Cottle on June 12, 2024, in the Bronx, New York.
She leaves to mourn her loss two biological children, Loris Augusta Allen and Lynette Cottle, her cherished sister, Mrs. Augusta Bindu Sirleaf Horton, her darling brothers, Messrs. Momolu Sirleaf and Borkai Sirleaf, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Her life was a testament to the power of selflessness, love, and hard work. Our Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin, and cheerful friend was a beacon of support and diligence, nurturing those around her with a compassionate spirit. Her influence will be profoundly missed, but her legacy of love and inspiration will continue to guide us.
As we bid her farewell, we do so with hearts overflowing with gratitude for her genuine love, which continues to inspire. Her memory, a beacon of love and inspiration, will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished in the tapestry of loving memories she leaves behind. We will always carry her love in our hearts. Take your rest, Mom, we love you!
