October 7, 1964 – December 26, 2023
The Flahn, Jeh, and Foday families, regret to announce the death of their dear sister, mother, aunty, cousin, and in-law, Aquila G. Flahn of the City of Paynesville, which happened on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. She leaves to mourn her loss of four (4) children, Abdul Turay, Erol Madison Gwion, Janet, and Joseph Yusuf Borkono. Four (4) sisters: Evelyn Flahn Kokro (Otis), Malvenia Flahn Avery (Eric), Yeatu Flahn Sidee and Kumba Foday. Seven (9) brothers: Amos M. Tarr, Sam G. Jeh (Melvina), Arnold B. Flahn (Zulia), Zawu Flahn (Linda), Cyrus G. Flahn Sr. (Gorpu), Cee Van Harmon (Annie), Tamba Foday, Augustine Jeh (Pinky), Fayiah Foday, and a host of other relatives and friends in Liberia, USA, Nigeria and other part of the world.
Aquila was looking forward to the New Year and new opportunities, but the cold hands of death took her away due to a brief illness. It is a very painful loss! Aquila was a Christian; therefore, as we lean on God’s strength and comfort during this time of grief, we know that she’s resting in God’s perfect peace.
May her beautiful soul and the loving souls of her parents, Deacon & Deaconess Trokon N. Flahn, Sr., her brothers Trokon N. Flahn, Jr. and Eric Z. Flahn who predeceased her, rest together in God’s Kingdom. AMEN and AMEN
