The Reeves, Kemokai, Jones, King, Fahnbulleh Freeman, Massaley and Yhap families announce the passing of Sando Comfort Kemokai Reeves in her 88th year. This sad event occurred on Friday, April 3, 2026 at her home in Laurel, Maryland.
She is survived by her children Verlaine King Jones (Paul Boto Jones), Miatta King, Samukai King (Pelemah), Rev. F. Richelieu Reeves (Ruth), Eugene Ashong and Tito Totsman Etoty; her brothers-in-law Emmanuel Nuku Reeves, Sr. (Bunchie) and S. Roy Reeves; her sister-in-law Joybell Reeves-Yonkendeh; many grandchildren, cousins and a host of relatives in Liberia, Nigeria and the United States.
Services honoring the life and legacy of Sando Comfort Kemokai Reeves will be held as follow:
