It is with profound sadness that the Brownell family announces the peaceful homegoing of Roger Keda Brownell, November 29, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida surrounded by his family.
He leaves to mourn his loss and celebrate his Life and Legacy: Children Rokeda W Brownell; Rodney Q Brownell; Keisha B Brownell Soda (Mosope) and Roger C K Brownell Jr. (Cedrianna); six Grandchildren, siblings, aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends in Liberia and the U.S.A.
Roger was predeceased by his parents, the Honorable Samuel Dowodeah Brownell, Sr and Thelma Jean Cato Brownell.
Roger will be sorely missed, but his love and legacy will remain in our hearts forever. His loss leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him that can never be filled.
The family acknowledges your prayers, condolences and messages of support during this time of mourning. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace and rise in Glory.
