
The Wilson, Thompson, Constance, and Kollie families regret to announce the homegoing of Mr. Mark S. Wilson, who transitioned peacefully on October 5, 2025, at JFK Medical Center, Monrovia, Liberia.
Born on November 13, 1957, Mark lived a life defined by service, integrity, and devotion to family and community. A Civil Engineer by profession, he dedicated many years to the Ministry of Public Works, where he served as Assistant Minister for Technical Services and Chief of the Highway Division.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mark was a passionate educator and mentor. He taught at the University of Liberia, Stella Maris Polytechnic, and Tubman University, where he played a vital role in shaping the next generation of Liberian engineers.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Mrs. Annetta Kollie Wilson; loving mother, Mrs. P. Agnes Thompson; Six children: Jonah Sleweon, Esther, Alvin, Vanessa, Lovetta, and Marion Wilson; eight grandchildren; several brothers, sisters, aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives, colleagues, and friends in Liberia and abroad.
