With profound sorrow, the family of Julius Francis Hoff, Sr. announces his transition which occurred on the morning hours of October 7, 2024 at the Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, USA. The second living eldest son of Henry Delarue Hoff, Sr., and Carnetta Ophelia Marshall Hoff. Julius was born in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County, Liberia West Africa on June 10, 1942.
Beloved Husband of Lauriette Williams West-Hoff, Brother, Uncle, Father, Grandfather, Cousin, Cherished Friend, and Confidant to many others.
Julius will always be remembered for his effervescent personality, joyful demeanour, his unshakable faith in God, and willingness to be of service to everyone. Throughout his eighty-two years, Julius impacted the lives of all who knew him, and his zest for life touched countless lives.

He also reared many Foster Children and sponsored the education of many other Children who fondly called him Uncle Julius.
Julius also leaves to mourn his loss: Two Step Sons: David Allen West, jr. (Pamela), Ray Anthony West (Eyvonne). Foster Son: Owen Scoggins and a host of Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, many who called him Dad.
The late Julius Francis Hoff, Sr. has being cremated in Durham, North Carolina USA.
Julius being a faithful Baptist and a Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and in keeping with the Baptist Covenant, he quickly affiliated with the People Christian Church, which was then being pastored by a fellow Believer from Providence Baptist Church. He actively served as a Father of the church, Choir Member and was ordained as a Deacon. His unwavering commitment to his congregation and community reflected his spiritually and love for them.
His passion was to help others and particularly children, he was Generous, Charitable, and Charming. His peculiar laughter was joyful and deep. Everyone knew when “Hoffie Boy” was in the House. Julius enjoyed many Community interests and Hobbies.
Julius was first married to Mrs Irene Andrews of Monrovia, Liberia. His second marriage was to Mrs Francis Wilson of Monrovia, Liberia. Julius then married Mrs Lauriette Williams West whom he pre-deceased.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Republic of Liberia at:
the Providence Baptist Church, Broad, Center, & Ashmun Streets, Monrovia, Liberia, on November 21, 2024, 1:00 pm (GMT).
