It is with profound appreciation that we reflect on the life of Ann-Marie Saybah Mawien Jallah, born to the esteemed Clan Chief Massawu Jallah of Voinjama City and the late Madan Kaibeh Tennie of Kormai Town, Lofa County, Liberia, West Africa.
Known affectionately as Ann-Marie, her remarkable dedication as a nurse spanned 50 years, during which she made significant contributions to the health and well-being of her community. Her professional journey included invaluable service at Telewoyan Hospital in Voinjama, LAMCO Hospital in Yekepa, Sunneywen Hospital in West Point, Monrovia, the Japanese Friendship Maternity Center in Monrovia, ELWA in Monrovia, and both Catholic and JFK Hospitals in Monrovia, Liberia.
Beyond her professional achievements, Ann-Marie was an exemplary mother, embodying the virtues of compassion and dedication. She warmly welcomed young girls and boys into her home, providing them with essential support in housing, education, and medical care, thereby fostering their growth and development.
Ann-Marie is survived by her loving husband, Rev. Dr. Johns Jallah, with whom she shared 57 years of a remarkable journey. She is also cherished by her children, Mimi Liberty Mulbah, Angeline Liberty, Borsue Jallah, and Kpaquoi Jallah, as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and an extended family of relatives and friends.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our beloved mother for serving as an inspiring force in our lives. Her love continues to resonate within us, offering comfort and peace as we carry forward her legacy.
