The Payweyne, Clarke, Hodges and Reeves families regret to announce the sudden passing of Elder Andrew Gaye Payweyne, who departed this life on March 4, 2026, at his residence in Becker, Minnesota, USA.
Elder Payweyne was born on September 13, 1954, in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, Liberia. He was a retired phlebotomist, a husband, brother, father and a devoted member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church since his youth.
Before his untimely death, he was a member of the New Birth Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he faithfully served in various capacities including Deacon, Elder, and member of the Prayer Team.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Zean Payweyne, children (both biological and non-biological), grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends in the United States and Liberia.
