“Florence Mamie Diarra, affectionately known as “Flo” by her family and friends, transitioned on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Bayhealth Hospital in Kent County, Delaware.
Born on September 18, 1972, Flo lived a life filled with love, warmth, and devotion to her family, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories at the age of 54.
She is survived by her loving family:
Mother: Mrs. Mary Jacobs Colnoe
Daughter: Abbie M. Jacobs
Grandchildren: Allison Hogking, Adolphus A. Hogking, and G. Promise Sumo
Sisters: Mrs. Etta Colnoe Weah, Mrs. Tete Colnoe Addo, Mrs. Ada Colnoe Taylor, Ms. Elsa Colnoe, and Ms. Aamu Colnoe
Brothers: Mr. James Colnoe Jr., Mr. Jacob Colnoe Sr., Mr. Aaron Colnoe, and Zeon Colnoe
Cousins: Mrs. Jeannette Varnie and Rev. Dr. Jacob T. Harris
Extended Family: A loving host of nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, relatives, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Florence’s legacy of warmth, compassion, and devotion will continue to inspire and live on through all who loved her. May she rest in peace, and may light everlasting shine upon her.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026
starting with viewing at 9:00am, to be fallowed by the Funeral Service starting at 10:09am and ends at 12:00 noon.
Burial follows at 1:30pm at the Sharon Hill Cemetery at
