It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we, the Kloh and Johnson families, announce the passing of our beloved mother and wife, Mrs. Marian Pennie Johnson-Kloh, who passed away suddenly on September 2, 2026.
Aunty Pennie, as everyone affectionately called her, was born on April 3, 1972. She was a loving wife and mother, a wonderful sister, an amazing grandmother, and overall, a cherished family member and a blessing to everyone whose life she touched. She leaves to mourn her husband, Professor Richardson Kofa Kloh; her children, Genehvee Kloh, Bonyononh Kloh, Forgbe Emma Kloh, Princess Kloh, Marian Pennie Doe, Nah Kloh, Edward Kloh, and Courage Kloh, and her grandchildren, Bonyonoh Dorcas Kloh, Boimah Champ Mason, Emmanuel Kloh, Ma-snoh Kloh, and Tarlor Nagbe. She is also survived by her elder brothers and sisters, Rev. Charles R.H. Johnson Jr, Fred B. Johnson, Musu Harvey, Oretha Johnson, and many other relatives.
Her love, kindness, strength, and beautiful memories will forever remain in our hearts.
While we mourn her passing, we are grateful for the life she lived, the love she shared, and the many precious memories she left behind.
We kindly ask family, friends, sympathizers, and well-wishers to keep us in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
The body will be removed Friday, September 18, at 4 pm from the St. Moses Funeral Home along the Japanese Freeway in Topoe Village and taken to the Cartwright Memorial AME Zion Church in Brewerville City, along the Moulton Corner Road, for a brief period of wake-keeping beginning at 6- 9 p.m. The family will then gather at the deceased’s residence in Brewerville City, Yellow Flower Community, for a continuation of the wake-keeping.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 9:30 AM at the same church.
Interment follows at the St. Moses burial site in Bomi County, right after Po River.
