The Gejailah, Maviema, Tienii towns, Massaquoi, Kromah, and Sambolah families announce with profound sorrow the homegoing of their son, brother, nephew, uncle, and father, Siaka Charles Massaquoi, at the age of 57. This sad event occurred in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, at midnight on July 3, 2026, following a brief illness.
The late Siaka Charles Massaquoi was born on December 23, 1969, in Gejailah Town, Tewor District, Grand Cape Mount County, Republic of Liberia, to his mother, Madam Zoe Kromah, and his father, Siaka Massaquoi.
The deceased was a 1984 graduate of Robertsport High School in Robertsport City, Grand Cape Mount County, and a 1996 graduate of the University of Liberia, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations.
The family wishes to release the itinerary for the funeral as follows:
Wake Keeping will be held on FRIDAY, August 14, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM ET at the same address as the funeral. Friends, Community dwellers, and other sympathizers will pay tribute at the wake keeping.
The Funeral service will take place on SATURDAY, August 15, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM ET at Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory, 914 Scenic Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30045. ONLY the Family, the deceased’s job, and the Cape Mount Association in GA will be paying tribute during the funeral service. The Burial will follow immediately at Melwood Cemetery, 5170 E Ponce de Leon Ave., Stone Mountain, GA 30083. A Community repass will be held afterward at 3252 Broxton Lane, Snellville, GA 30039, inviting everyone to gather and support the family.
The deceased is survived by his beloved mother, Madam Zoe Kromah; his predeceased father, Mr. Siaka Massaquoi; his children, Boima Reuben Sao Massaquoi and Narissa Zoe Massaquoi; his uncles, Seidu Kromah and Boima Sambolah; and many siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and relatives in Liberia and the USA, whose lives he touched deeply.
