It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of our beloved: Leona Magdalene Padmore Hannah, affectionately called Tombilly, who peacefully departed this life on July 15, 2026.
Leona was preceded in death by her parents, Arbaces and Jenny Padmore; her husband, John Hannah; her brother, Lysander Padmore (“Lance”); her sister, Eva King (“Iyah”); and her daughter, Jenny Hannah Bennett (“Blossom”).
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Arbaces Jay Hannah; her son-in-law, Tommy Bennett; her grandchildren, Keith Usher, Brian Usher, Desirae Lumsford, Aurie Curry, and Devin Bennett; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her love.
Leona’s life was defined by her unwavering faith in God, her deep love for her family, and her quiet devotion to those around her. Her generous spirit and gentle strength touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. While her passing leaves an immeasurable void, the kindness she shared and the legacy she leaves will continue to live on in the lives of all who were blessed by her presence.
During this time of mourning, we humbly ask that you keep the Hannah and Padmore families in your thoughts and prayers as they celebrate Leona’s remarkable life and treasure the memories she shared with them.
