It is with heavy hearts to announce the passing of Mr. Abraham Ketter on June 18th, 2026. Abraham was 68 years old and was full of life, jokes, laughter, and loved storytelling, family, friends, and debating politics. He is survived by his siblings Edwin Brown, Phillip Ketter, and Laura Ketter Townsend, his children Abrianna Knott and Dekontee Zangar, grandchildren Thomas Roberts and Theophilus Roberts, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. In the coming days, funeral services details will be announced. Please allow time for family and friends to mourn the loss of our dear brother, uncle, grandfather, and loved one. He will be truly missed and has left a mark on all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
Funeral Service:
Funeral service will be on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Parkwood Institutional CME Church at 802 Tom Hunter Road, Charlotte, NC 28213. The service will start at 10:30 a.m.
Interment:
Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery and Memorial Gardens located at 1504 W Sugar Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28262
