It is with heavy heart and profound sorrow that the Saint-Jean, Kottner and Potter families, announce the homegoing of their beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend, Mackintosh Joseph Saint-Jean.
Bob MaCadoo or Kintoshee as he was affectionately called by his siblings and friends departed the world on January 14, 2026, after a protracted fight with cancer. He attended the Saint-Patrick High School where he graduated with the class of 1981.
Mack is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 30 years, Veronica, who he met while a student at the then Kumasi Polytechnic, now Kumasi Technical University in Ghana; his children, Angela, Mackintosh Jr., William, Patrick and Clara-Marie and an adopted daughter Winnie. He is also survived by his mother, Clara Potter Saint-Jean, his siblings, Felix Jr., Pawlyn, Claudel, Marianne, Magdalena (James), Etienne (Monica), nephews and nieces including, Dr. Ayun Casell, Eric Cassell, Denise, Edgar, Celene, Crystal, Marie, Lemuel, Jimilyn, Greenfield, Luc and a host of other family members and friends in Liberia, Haiti, USA, Ghana, Malaysia, Canada, etc. His Father, Mr. Felix P. Saint-Jean , Sr. predeceased him. Mack could hardly speak on his dying bed but was visibly contended to see some of his childhood friends and close buddies from the GSA neighbourhood including Sam Bedran, John-Lord Baxter, Levy Knowlden, Ronald Hoff and Haile K. Okai.
Interment and Funeral service
- Friday, February 6, 2026 – Silent wake at the family homestead on GSA Road, Paynesville beginning at 8pm
- Saturday, February 7, 2026 – at 8am, Removal of the body from the Stryker Funeral Home on 24th Street, Sinkor. At 9am, Wake and Funeral service at the Monrovia Christian Fellowship Church on 9th Street Sinkor.
- Interment follows at the Kaiser Memorial Cemetery in Brewerville, Liberia.
