It is with great sadness that the Dillon, Ricks, Dennis, Clark, Miller, Sturks, Colquitt, McCullough, Bradley, Urey, Woodson, Bright and Knuckles families announce the death of Leslie A. Dillon, daughter of the late Hon. Edmund C. Dillon, Jr. – Co-founder of LOIC in Liberia, West Africa and Mrs. Ruthie Lee Paul-Dillon, former Concert Pianist, Multi-Cultural Arts Expert and Educator in the US and Music Education Teacher and K-2 Educator at Isaac A. David, Sr. Memorial School in Liberia, West Africa. She is also the granddaughter of the Late Hon. Judge Edmund C. Dillon, Sr., Magistrate of the Firestone District, Member of the House of Representatives for Liberia, West Africa and Captain of Industry and Mrs. Laura A. Ricks Dillon, Superintendent of Schools for White Plains, Liberia, Educator and Designer (Textiles).
Leslie Dillon passed away on January 7, 2026, shortly after midnight at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her late father, the Hon. Edmund C. Dillon, Jr. and is survived by her very loving mother and friend, Mrs. Ruthie Lee Paul-Dillon; her loving sisters and brother, respectively, Dr. Etrenda C. Dillon (US & Liberia), Gianna Maria Dillon (USA) and brother Rene Wissink (the Netherlands); her nieces and nephews and grandnephew – Alicia Colquitt, Aaron Justice McCullough, Sophie Wissink, Robin Wissink, and Alden Bradley; her Uncle, Mr. Willie Clark, Jr. (Gulfport, FL) and Uncle Samuel A. Ricks (White Plains, Liberia); her cousins, Mr. James Morgan, Chris Williams-Sherif, Samuel A. Williams, John Fitzgerald Butler, Etrenda Dennis, Laura Sherif, Phyllis Butler-Gardiner, Sam H. Butler, Jr. Fiona Marsh, Doreen Uba, Morgana Gadegbeku , Ireneaus Gadegbeku, Florence Dennis-Huskin, F.A.
