Normally, no one in their right mind would want a hardened criminal in their neighborhood or their country, but, our Foreign Minister, Sara Beysolow Nyanti, says that Liberia has agreed to accept Mr. Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran deportee from the U.S.A on “humanitarian and temporary” grounds….Oh really?? So why is Sara feeling sorry for this hardened criminal?
Look, it is not clear to me why Sara is feeling sorry for this guy. Perhaps, Liberia is getting a special favor from the U.S in return for accepting a hardened criminal. But we all know that Abrego Garcia has engaged in multiple gang related activities like selling drugs, associating with other gang members, beating his wife, and human trafficking…but yet Liberia is accepting him on “humanitarian and temporary grounds” Wow!
Um,um, I mean no disrespect to our esteemed Foreign Minister, but when did our country become a haven for hardened criminals? Was it before or after MCC (Millennium Challenge Corporation) decided to delay its decision on Liberia’s second compact grant?? Madame Beysolow needs to come clean on Liberia’s decision to accept a hardened criminal from the U.S. I have a strong suspicion that there’s more to this story than meet the eye.
