It is with profound sadness that the Gilman, Solo, and Neal families announce the sudden death of our beloved daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and a dear friend, Seyeanen Lucia “Cece” Gilman. This sad event occurred on Wednesday September 10, 2025, at the Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, Delaware, USA with her loving family by her side.
“Cece”, as she was affectionately called, was a free spirit with an artist’s soul, and a canvas of vibrant experiences. She was our family event planner. Cece was very creative, and always willing to give anyone a helping hand. Cece had a warm smile and a very pleasant demeanor and was a cherished friend to many. Our family will take solace in her memories forever.
“Cece”, is survived by her father Edward Sie Gilman, Sr, her mother Kaymah Solo Gilman, her sisters: Dr. Mleanen Marcia Gilman Palacios (Carlos) and Rosemarie NyenehSie Gilman. Brothers: Edward “EJ” Gilman Jr. and Dio Gilman. Her beloved nieces: Charlotte Deonee Gilman and Maya LucyRose Kayee Gilman, and her loving nephews: Carlos Joseph Blayee Palacios, Albert Jacob Gede Palacios and Kato Edgar Seley. Several aunts, grand-aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
