The Nah, Sipley, & Blamo-Koon families sadly announce the passing of Albert Tabella Nah, affectionately known as “Everybody #9.” This sad event was discovered on Friday, July 4th, 2025, at his home in Newark, New Jersey.
Born in Liberia to Albert Nah Sr. and Nora Blamo-Sipley, Albert was a beloved father, brother, and friend. He was a gifted footballer who played for Liberia’s Invincible Eleven and the Lone Star national team, later earning All-American honors in the U.S. and reshaping collegiate soccer at Long Island University and Fairleigh Dickinson University.
He was a member and former Co-Chair of the Board at United Christian Fellowship Church in Newark, a Master Mason – King Sao Boso Lodge #92, and a proud leader in both the Liberian Community Association of North Jersey and the Invincible Eleven & Majestic Sports Association of NJ.
In addition to his legacy of strength, service, and love that will echo across generations, Albert leaves behind his beloved family, loving siblings, and a host of family and friends who cherished him.
