Birth: December 19, 1974 – Passing: July 3, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that the Phillips, Kobbah, Seton, Quire and Venn families announce the passing of our cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, cousin, friend and industrial loved one, Mrs. Philetta “Tenti” Kobbah-Phillips. Phil, as she was affectionately called, was summoned to eternal rest on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the hour of 7:30 post meridien in Houston,Texas, following a brief illness. Philetta’s short life was one of great love and kindness and touched all who knew her in so many ways.
She leaves to mourn her loss her mother/aunt, Mrs. Weade Kobbah-Boley; father, Mr. Yeah K Vowel; husband, Mr. Elkanah-Al Phillips; Children,Alphina Hnede Phillips, Alkinetta Kumba Phillips, Alphikina Elmer Phillips, Anikla Phillips, Alkina (AJ) Phillips; adopted children, Chamond Brooks, Samuel Mulbah and Amos Mulbah;
Grandchildren, Nasir James Broussard and Ja’maiya Mercedes Dixon; Sister Ophelia Williams: Brothers Abu Doumbia, Abraham Doumbia, Phillip Seton, Jr, Uncles and Aunts Samson P. H.
Kobbah, II, Jenkins J. Kobbah, Sr; Sekle Wesseh, Gorma Kobbah-Cooper, and Esther Venn; nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of other relatives, business associates, loved ones and friends in Liberia, Africa, Europe and the United States of America.
Friends and families are invited to join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of Philetta Tenti Kobba- Phillips.
