With deep sorrow, the Davies and Clement families announce the peaceful passing of their beloved Equa Hannah Clement-Davies, who departed this life on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the age of 80. Surrounded by her children and grandchildren, she passed away at the family’s residence in Cary, North Carolina, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Togba Davies, Sr.; her parents, Joseph Kwesi Clement, Sr. and Bernice Ajavon Clement-Dunn; four of her children—Emery, Fitzgerald, Hannah, and Andrew Jr.; her sister, Debah Dunn; and her brother, Joseph Kwesi Clement, Jr.
Equa Hannah Clement-Davies is survived by six children: Daryl Wreh, Lowell Nyenkan, Andrena Tarlor, Michael Mombo, Andrew Dash, and Fitzgerald Womkpeh Jr. She leaves behind beloved grandchildren: Lisa Michelle, Michael Lowell, Allen Taylor, and Tristen Andrew, who was affectionately known as “her handbag.” She is also mourned by her devoted siblings: Joyceline Esi Clement-Thompson, Rebecca Clement-Nosegbe, Bernice Clement-Binda, Patina Clement-Douglass, Felix Kojo Clement, Winifred Clement-Nelson, Litchfield Kweku Clement, Kwame Ajavon Clement, Margaret Abena Clement, Sarah Dunn, and Theresa Dunn. In addition, she leaves behind more than fifty nieces and nephews, as well as a host of extended family, dear friends, and spiritual brothers and sisters across Liberia and the United States.
FUNERAL EVENTS
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 12 noon, at Lea Funeral Home, 2500 Poole Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. (Eastern) at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1913 Trawick Rd., Raleigh, NC 27604.
