The Stewart, Cheeks, Smith, families are sad to announce the untimely home going of our dearest wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend Millie Marpu Cheeks Stewart. This profound sadness of Millie’s passing that occurred on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the Kent County Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island came as a shock to everyone.
Her untimely death leaves a void that our memories of her will fill. She is survived by her husband: Abel Stewart, Two children: Virginia Logan and Sylvia Stewart, Father: Luke F. Cheeks Sr. Mother: Sarah S. Smith, five brothers: Ricky Greigre (Roula), Luke F. Cheeks Jr. (Vicky), Frederick Cheeks (Cherokee), Felix Cheeks, Darlington Cheeks (Isatu)-Liberia,
Three sisters: Adeline Z. Cheeks, Patricia Sundaygar (Matthew)-Liberia, Selina L. Deranamie (David), and a host of other relatives, church family and friends.
