Jerome M. Hodge 71, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Virginia, USA. Jerome was born on April 8, 1954, in Pleebo, Liberia to the late Reginald S. Hodge, Sr. and Marie Dean Brown. He was a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend whose life was marked by kindness, service, and an unwavering love for family.
Jerome was the proud and loving father of Regina Tiku (Emmett), Stephen, Himien Budu, Thomas Ansu, Wannie April, Victor Bestman II. Melvin, Jerome II and the beloved grandfather of Oyetta, Nikolaus, Ruby, Marie, Bailey, Camereon, Richmond and Christian . He also leaves behind his siblings Reginald, Jr. Regina (George), Catherine (Walter), Gabriel Archie (Bianca), Wede and Tidi, a host of extended family including Victor Bestman, Jr., nieces, nephews, and cousins and is preceded in death by his parents Reginald Hodge, Marie Dean Brown and Marie O’Connor-Hodge.
His love, wisdom, and kind spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
