
It is with utmost regret and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Mr. Jeremiah Gboweh Davis.
Mr. Davis was called to be with the Lord, with family by his side on May 25, 2025 at The Inova Alexandria Hospital in Alexandria, VA.
Mr. Jeremiah Gboweh Davis was born in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, Republic of Liberia, the son of Jeremiah G. Davis, Sr. and Elizabeth Louise Montgomery Davis. From an early age he displayed a deep commitment to education and personal development.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife Mrs. Julia Davis and children Jerry Davis, Marjay Davis-Sabbakhan, and Nanwher Davis-Gweama. He is also a proud father to Cosha Trokan Vah, Yukon Kaiuway, and Lafayette Kaiuway.
His legacy lives on through his beloved grandchildren: Mardea Jaida Davis, Sir Jeremiah Gregory Davis, Nejae Kulture Sabbakhan, Adewale Rabb Sabbakhan, Maliq Al-Niem Sabbakhan, Mya Gweama, Malia Gweama, Alvin Gweama Jr. Bendu Kaiuway, Abigail Kaiuway, Meme Kaiuway, Trophena (BonBon) Vah, Akeem Kaiuway, Isaac Kaiuway, Trokan Kaiuway, and Michael Kaiuway.
A man of strong faith, profound intellect, and quiet humility Mr. Davis is deeply cherished by his siblings Mary Davis (Liberia), Emily Darling Davis (US), Louise Davis (Liberia), Joanna Sinyan (US), Hanna Davis (deceased), Lawrence Davis (US), Emmanuel Davis (Liberia), George Davis (Liberia), Jeremiah Davis lll (US) and Deborah Davis (deceased).
Mr. Davis touched so many lives both in the United States and abroad in his beloved birthplace The Republic of Liberia and truly will be missed.
