The James, Dillon, Wheaton, Dunbar, Marshall, Liberty, Rose & Peabody families regret to announce the death of their beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great grandmother, Aunt, Grand Aunt and Cousin; Hanna Eugenia James who went to be with the Lord, peacefully at Mercy Hospital, on May 15th, 2025 in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.

Mrs. Hanna Eugenia Dillon-James was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph N. James, her 4 children who died in infancy, parents Samuel Ford Dillon & Evangeline Elizabeth Wheaton-Dillon, her siblings, Ellen Dillon-Caesar, Adelaide P. Cassell, Benjamin F. Lewis II, & Elaine Lewis-Bright.

She leaves to mourn her daughters, Rhonda James-Dunbar, Danlette James-Nyanti, Henrietta M. Sumo, Ernestine, Arabella, Brenda, Della, Eleanor, Naomi, etc.; 3 grandsons, 5 granddaughters, 7 great-grandchildren, 50 foster children and grandchildren, Sister-In-Laws Edith James-Tyler, Rose Otto-Lewis (Benjamin F. Lewis II*), and Brother-in-Laws Boimah Sandimanie, Richard S.S. Bright Jr. (Elaine Lewis-Bright*). She will be missed by countless cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends in Liberia and abroad.
