It is with profound sadness that we, the Mathews, George, Cooper, and Hansford families, announce the passing of our beloved Queen Patricia L. Mathews. She transitioned to Glory peacefully at her residence on May 14, 2025, in Brooklyn, NY.
Affectionately known as Pat, Mommy, or The General, she left a lifetime impression on all she interacted with, whether through her contagious laugh, smile, or delicious cooking. She will be deeply missed. We love her; but God loves her best.
