Psalm 16:8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

It is with profound sadness that the Amos & Awopeju, Traub, Parker, and Akoiwala families announce the death of their beloved and energetic wife, mother, daughter, and niece, Torlo Kormasa Amos, after a protracted illness. Kormasa (KOR), as she was affectionately called, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, at about 7:00 PM at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Kormasa is survived by her husband, Mr. Emmanuel Amos, her daughter, Emiola “Emi” Amos, her parents, Mr. Emmanuel Traub, Sr. (Erica), Mrs. Elaine Parker Williams (Darlingston), her siblings, Mrs. Dekontee Cagiano (James), Emmanuel Traub, Jr., Darlingston Williams, Jr., Lucy Williams, Jeremiah Williams, Courtney Augustine-Palmer, Roland G. Matthews, her in-laws, Mr. Emmanuel Awopeju (Grace), her aunties, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives, Church & Praise Dance families and friends in the USA, Africa, and other parts of the world.

The family will appreciate that we all wear Kormasa’s favorite colors, Purple for adults and lilac for children. This is not a dress code, but a preference in honor of Kormasa.

KOR, you fought a good fight.
