The late SAWEE Kofa, Jr was born unto the Union of Mr SAWEE Kofa , Sr. and Francia Russell-Kofa on February 15, 1997 in Monrovia, Liberia, the last of three children, born unto that Union.
The family migrated to the United States of America in July 2001, after fleeing the civil crisis in Liberia and spending about 1 1/2 years in a refugee camp in Ghana .
SAWEE graduated from Northeast High School in 2015. He attended the Philadelphia community college briefly and recently began the process of enrolling in the Air-force, and looked eagerly to start a career he felt was his calling.
On March 3, 2024, he was senselessly shot and killed by a man after he got off a SEPTA public transport bus, following an argument between the both of them.
SAWEE Jr. leaves to mourn his mother, Francia Russell-Kofa, his father, SAWEE Kofa, Sr., his sister Sayonnoh Kofa, his brother James Kieh Kofa, his grandmother, Mrs Agnes Tetee Kofa, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his grandfathers Joseph D. Kofa, Sr and James N. Russell, and grandmother

Sawee was very humble, caring, and respectful, and his untimely demise will leave a void in the hearts of all who knew him.
