It is with profound sadness that the Brewer, Agyeman, Prout, Holdbrook-Smith, and Taylor families announce the transition of Rubell Henry Yofi Brewer, Sr., son of Sewell Telford Prout Brewer, Sr. and Efua Agyeman Brewer. This unfortunate event occurred on February 7, 2025, at the International Maritime Hospital in Tema, Ghana.
Rubell was preceded in death by his father, Sewell Telford Prout Brewer, Sr.; his mother, Efua Ageman Brewer; his daughter, Jasmine Brewer; and his sister, Gertylue Virginia Ekua “ Boo” Brewer.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Bindu Taylor Brewer; his son Rubell Henry Yofi Brewer, Jr.; his sisters Pereta Brewer, Marco Brewer Boayue (Irving), and Ewurabena Brewer-Main (Ryan); his brothers Sewell Brewer, Jr. (Jande) and Richard Brewer (Grace); nieces and nephews, and a multitude of family and friends.
Rubell will be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, relative, and friend and for his immense love of life, family, sports, and music.
