With profound sorrow, the Moore, Simmons, and Kaba family announce the homegoing of their beloved matriarch, Ms. Rachel Z. Moore. This sad event occurred on Friday, July 19th, 2024, at The Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Ms. Rachel Z. Moore leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her beloved children, Titus Simmons (Vivienne), Ella Mae Wiles Kaba (Mohammed Lamine), and Doris Browne, her adored grandchildren, Zenobia Arabia Simmons, Medina Arabian Love Simmons, Khaalid Titus Simmons, Abdullah Lamine Kaba, Balakisa Deweh Kaba; and her great-grandchildren, Quiouri JayStar Titus Smith, Taylor Rachel Smith, Xaila Mai Kaba, and Xoemi Imara Kaba. She is also mourned by her sisters, Lucy Zelee and Dorothy Moore; her sister-in-law, Grace Moore; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends across the USA, Liberia, Europe, and beyond. She was predeceased by her parents, Mr. John Moore and Mrs. Martha Moore, along with several brothers and sisters.

The services will be held at John Wesley Methodist Church 260 Quincy St, Brooklyn, NY 11216
