The Bedell, Vinton, Scott, Woods, and Nimineh families regret to announce the passing of their beloved father, brother, and uncle, Mr. Roland Nyema Bedell, who departed this life at the home of his son and daughter Mr. & Mrs. Saad Augustine Solomon on Duport Road, Monrovia, Liberia, on June 22, 2025, at the age of 78.
Mr. Bedell was predeceased by his former wife, Mrs. Mary N. Bedell; his parents, Mr. John Waa Baa Bedell and Kannah Scott Bedell.
He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Didi Odigie Bedell, his loving children: Michael Boy Bedell(Dayo), Catherine Bedell- Solomon( Saad), Gyude John Bedell, Victor Odutola(Lavena), Nyemade Bedell Allison(Prince), N’Made Bedell Varfley (Henry II), Waade Bedell Smith(Rupert), Rubell and Rubein Dolo, Asia and George Harding, his foster children: Larton Silikpoh, Mary Lupaye, Bindu Mineyah and Fatu Sheriff Schmidt.
He will be fondly remembered by his Grandchildren: Lovetee, Chukwuemeka, Ben, Asher, Monique, Gyude Jr., Lafayette, Nike, Uriel, Yakira, Yuri, Princess, Ayodele, Amarie, Amayah, Henry III, Amani, Rupert Jr., Roland, Dasha, Rubina and Apple as well as his great-grandchildren, Cornelia and Rolanda.
He is also survived by his siblings: David K. Vinton, Maureen Todee Bedell, Siedi Dupe Bedell, Edith Bedell, and Monday Bedell, his brother-in-law Paul Nimineh, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mr. Bedell was predeceased by the following siblings: his brothers Joseph Dele and David Dada Bedell, his sister, Mrs. Catherine Bedell Woods, his favorite sister in law, Mrs. Comfort T. Logan and his brother-in-law, Mr. John T. Woods.
